This intensive 7-hour partly hands-on workshop is aimed at a broad cross-section of the construction management and supply chain. It will teach you how a Revit Building Information Model is built with architectural, structural, MEP, and construction elements.
From the model you will learn how to create coordinated documents, export quantities to estimating, create 4D construction logistics and visualization, as-planned vs. as-built images, and do interference detection. You will learn how to import topography, export the model for energy analysis, create storyboards and animated walkthroughs. You will create 3D and 4D models that can be shared with your whole project team on free viewers.
This is a challenging event – to learn about a powerful technology, how to leverage it in your organization and how to make it work effectively for the supply chain and project team members. The workshop is intended to expose you to Revit’s power, and the potential of its output. It is not however a design comprehensive training unit.
